Privacy, in plain language.
This notice describes the DigitalMaple launch as of November 1, 2026. It covers the website, its local browser tools, and contact messages.
Who operates the site
DigitalMaple is an independent publication operated by Mohammad Jowkari in British Columbia, Canada. Privacy questions and correction requests can be sent through the contact page.
What the tools do with your information
Calculators and text tools process your entries in your browser. They do not connect to a bank, create a user account, send entries to an AI model, or send your entered figures to a calculation server. Inputs are not saved to a DigitalMaple account or intentionally persisted between page loads.
The image compressor, image resizer and checksum tool read a file you select and process it in your browser. Their code does not upload the selected file to a server. The password generator uses the browser’s Web Crypto randomness; generated passwords are not uploaded, saved or placed in share links. Selecting Copy places a result on your device’s clipboard. Previews and generated outputs exist in that browser session.
Search retrieves a public list of our guides and tools; matching is performed locally. Tool share links put calculation numbers in the URL fragment after the # character. Fragments are not sent as part of the ordinary HTTP page request, but they can appear in your browser history or be visible to anyone you share the link with.
Hosting, security and normal page requests
Loading the website sends normal requests to our hosting infrastructure. Cloudflare Pages hosts the public website. Cloudflare may process information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and request timestamps to deliver, protect and operate the service. Source code and deployment builds are managed through a private GitHub repository; tool inputs are not sent to that repository.
A local-only tool does not make ordinary website access anonymous. Our code does not intentionally send your tool inputs or images to those providers. Security infrastructure may use operational storage or cookies under its own applicable policies.
Advertising and analytics
We have not added audience-analytics scripts or active advertising scripts to this launch. Publisher-verification metadata and an ads.txt entry may identify the intended advertising account; they do not themselves display ads.
We intend to support the publication with advertising. Before enabling advertising or new analytics, we will update the notice and configure the consent choices and disclosures that apply. Google advertising, if enabled, can involve cookies or other identifiers, IP addresses, and device information. The relevant Google policies and available consent controls will be linked at that time.
If you email us
An email includes the address, content and attachments you choose to send. We use that correspondence to respond to the enquiry, investigate corrections and maintain a record of the issue. Email is handled through the email provider rather than through a private messaging system on this site.
Avoid sending sensitive material. If you want us to remove an enquiry or have a privacy concern, contact the desk and identify the relevant message without sending additional private data.
Your choices
You can use the tools without creating an account. Close or reload the page to clear the in-memory tool state. Keep original files and decide yourself whether to download or share a result.
We do not sell tool inputs or selected images. Links to other websites are governed by those sites. This notice does not describe data processing inside a third-party product you choose to use.
