DigitalMaple provides general technology information and browser-based tools. These terms explain the scope of that service.
Use the site thoughtfully
You may use the public guides and tools for ordinary personal or business planning. Do not use the site to harm others, interfere with its availability, upload malicious material, or attempt to access systems you do not own or have permission to use.
Information and estimates
Guides are general educational information. Software, device behaviour and service terms change. Check the documentation for your version and situation before acting. We do not guarantee that every instruction works on every system or that the site is always available or error-free.
Calculators produce estimates under their stated assumptions. A storage recommendation does not guarantee that a backup program will fit, retain a specific history, or restore successfully. Transfer estimates do not guarantee network speed. Subscription totals use only the amounts you enter.
Files and device changes
Keep your originals and make a backup before changing important files or system settings. Inspect compressed images for missing detail, changed colours and lost transparency or animation. The compressor is not an archival, print-proofing, redaction or forensic-sanitization tool.
You decide which files to select and how to use the output. Do not enter or send private credentials or confidential records through contact messages.

Original site text, code and illustrations belong to DigitalMaple or their respective rights holders. You may link to a guide and quote a short attributed excerpt where permitted. Reproducing whole guides or republishing the complete site requires permission.
